The MG 787 packing is manufactured from pure mineral expanded graphite of the highest quality (C> 99%), with corrosion inhibitor and reinforced with an inconel mesh cover, giving a higher pressure resistance in valves.

The advantages of the pure mineral expanded graphite are it’s tightnesslevel, flexibility, compressibility and fire resistance; it auto-lubricatesitself, it’s compatible with many type of fluids and it can be stored for an unlimited period of time.
